ITINERARY DETAILS

DAY 01: ARRIVAL AT PARO INTRNATIONAL AIRPORT) PARO– THIMPHU

On your arrival at airport in Paro you will be received by Guide from  Bhutan Dendrobium Tour and Trek(BDTT). After you welcome by guid and drive visit National Museum (known as Ta Dzong since it has been turned into National Museum, was the watch tower of Paro Dzong in 17thcentury) Paro Dzong (also known as Rinpung dzong is the venue for the annual Paro Tsechu festival held every spring).Lunch in Paro town and then transfer to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan.On reaching Thimphu check in hotel. Towards the evening visit Tashichodzong (the fortress of the glorious religion houses, the throne room of His Majesty the King, the main secretariat building and the central monk body). Overnight at THIMPHU

DAY 02: THIMPHU- PUNAKHA WITH MOTOER CYCLING

Breakfast in hotel and by motor cycling transfer to Punakha via Dochula pass at 3150m, one can have a magnificent view of Eastern Himalayas on the clear weather from the pass.Lunch at Dochula cafeteria. Further downhill move from the pass will take you to the warm and humid valley of Punakha. On the way through motor cycling visit Chhimi Lhakhang (the monastery of fertility). And by motor cycling visit Punakha dzong (majestically located at the junction of the two rivers Pho chu and Mo chu, meaning male and female river, it was built in 1637AD, and was the capital of Bhutan since 1955 AD),( OverNight at PUNAKHA)

DAY 03: PUNAKHA

Breakfast at hotel, take pack lunch) By motor cycling transfer  till hiking point to Khamsum Yulley Namgay chortenb, Visit inside the Chorten and pray for well being, its about  8km from hotel to hiking point and its 1hr.30mins drive). At evening transfer Wangdi (1,350m) (4,430ft) (Overnight at Wangdi)

Day 04: PUNAKHA –TRONGSA

Breakfast in hotel and visit Wangdi  Dzong by motor cycling(it was built in 1638 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyel) and through cycling, long journey  towards the Trongsa, crossing Pelela pass at 3360m. Photograph break at the pass, further 1hr 30min drive from the pass will take to the village of Chendebji where the lunch will be served in Tabdey restaurant near Chenbdji stupa (the Nepal style eye stupa). Further cycling from the lunch spot will reach to the town of Trongsa (the town in central Bhutan). Sightseeing of Trongsa dzong (the fortress in central Bhutan from where the Wang chuck dynasty came to power in 1907).And then reaching hotel check in at Trongsa town. (Overnight at TRONGSA)

 DAY 05:  TRONGSA-SINGTSEEING

Breakfast in hotel and by motor cycling back to Trongsa for sightseeing.First visit Dzong and museum.Trongsa Dzong was (Built in 1648, it was the seat of power over central and eastern Bhutan. Both the first and second kings of Bhutan ruled the country from this ancient seat. All four kings were invested as Trongsa Penlop (governor) prior to ascending the throne.). Lunch in town and after Lunch Visit Potala Lhakhang (consecrated in late 2005 by the Je- Khenpo. Inside is a fine 9m-tall statue of Chenresig, alongside a wrathful Guru Rinpoche) and TA Dzong (Watch Tower) then by motor cycling visit kingga Rabtey for sightseeing and visit kingga Rabtey palace.After that Drive back to Trongsa town. (Overnight at TRONGSA)

DAY 06: TRONGSA-JAKAR BUMTHANG

Breakfast in hotel and by motor cycling transfer to Bumthang valley.and then lunch Bumthang town then through motor cycling visit to Jakar dzong (this fortresswas initially built as the temple in 1549 AD, it is now the administrative centre for Bumthang district), visit Jampa lhakhang (one of the oldest temple in Bhutan, which date backs to 7th century before the arrival of Buddhism in the country). And visit Chakar lhakhang (means the iron castle was the palace of the King from India who built Nine storied iron castle in the 8th century), visit Kurjey lhakhang (the temple dedicated to the great Buddhist master Guru Padmasambhava who introduced Buddhism in 8th century). Overnight at JAKAR

DAY 07: BUMTHANG-URA SINGTSEEING

Breakfast in Hotel and through motor cycling visit Ura.The village of Ura is normally called Ura Makrong, is on the right side of the main road as one travels to Eastern Bhutan. Situated at an elevation of 3,100 m (10,170 ft), the village is made up of large stone houses squeezed up against each other. Built in 1986 on the site of an old temple which was in bad condition.The two-storey high temple is constructed in traditional Bhutanese style.)And then by motor cycling drive towards the  Shingkhar valley and the name of  temple is called  Shingkhar Dechenling temple, it was founded by the great Nyingmapa master Longchen Rabjam (1308–1364) around 1350 during his stay in Bumthang. There is another temple located at the top of a hillock dominating the village. Called Drokri rinchen juney, it is the residence (densa) of Longchen Rabjam near a holy spring with nine outlets. Besides on the east side of Shingkhar, below a cliff is the temple of Shamzur which was the meditation place of Longchenpa .After that by motor cycling drive back to Bumthang town. (Overnight at BUMTHANG)

DAY 08: BUMTHANG-GANGTEY PHOBJIKHA, Over Night at PHOBJIKHA

DAY 09: GANGTEY-PHOBJIKHA SINGTSEEING

Breakfast in hotel and by motor cycling transfer towards Gangtey and visit Gangtay Gonpa. And then visit Black Necked Crane Information Center in Phobjikha valley (the wintering home for the black necked crane). And visit Norsang Carpet Factory (Established in 1992 by a local woman, it has a small hall housing eight weaving).Overnight at PHOBJIKHA (1350m)

DAY 10: PHOBJIKHA-THIMPHU SIGHTSEEING

Breakfast in hotel and visit Memorial Chorten through motor cycling   (the stupa was built in 1974 in memory of the late his majesty the king Jig me Dorji Wang chuck),further motor cycling  toward the Buddha point to  see beautiful landscape of Thimphu town.After that visit Changangkha Lhakhang, (the drukpa kagyu monastery on the hill top of Thimphu town. Lunch in Thimphu Town,after that By motor cycling  Visit Takin Preserve at Motithang. And further visit nunnery monastary which is preach on top of the hill above Tashichhoedzong, you will reach Drubthob Goemba. This monastery today houses of Zilukha nunnery. You will get a great view of Tashichhoedzong from this monastery (Over Night at THIMPHU)

 DAY 11: THIMPHU-TANGGO MONASTERY

Breakfast in hotel and by motor cycling visit Tango monastery (The word Tango literally means horse head and is derived from the deity Tandin (Hayagriva) that features the head of a horse. The present day monastery was built in 1689 by Gyalsay Tenzin Rabgyal. Following the trail, the walk uphill takes about 40 minutes to reach the monastery.). Cheri (it was established in 1620, by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal, the founder of the Bhutanese state. The monastery, which is now a major teaching and retreat center of the Southern Drukpa Kagyu order.And through biking back toThimphu town and lunch in town. After lunch visit Centenary Farmers Market (Most of the Thimphu’s population and many valley dwellers converge on the bustling weekend market, held by the side of Wangchu River. A wide range of foodstuffs and local arts and crafts are sold at the market, which runs from Friday afternoon till Sunday evening.A visit to the market provides great photo opportunities, as well as the chance to mingle with local people and perhaps buy souvenirs. And then Visit Handicrafts Shops( A wide assortment of colorful, hand woven textiles and other craft products is available for purchase at the government-run Handicrafts Emporium and many smaller handicrafts shops around the town.)  Over Night at THIMPHU

DAY 12: THIMPHU-PARO SIGHTSEEING HIKE

Early Breakfast in hotel and by motor cycling  transfer to Paro Visit Nishioka Chorten,(the stupa built in memory of late Dasho Nishioka, a Japanese citizen who had served in the service of agriculture for 28 years in Bhutan),on the way stop at the Bondey village for the view of Paddy field (TANADA).And Lunch in town.After lunch visit Dumtse lhakhang by cycling(The unusual and circular Lhakhang, reminiscent of the Shana, or the black hat worn by the Bhutanese Black Hat dancers was, built by the great Builder of iron chain bridges, Drupthob Thangthong Gyalpo. Over Night at PARO

DAY 13: PARO-TAKTSANG MONASTREY HIKE

Breakfast in hotel and by motor cycling till the hiking point to Taktshang monastery (the monastery perched on the side of a cliff at a height of 900 meters above the Paro valley), round trip hike to Taktshang monastery which is about 3-4 hours from the car point. Lunch at the cafeteria (view point).After lunch sightseeing through cycling  visit  Drugyel Dzong (the fortress in ruins built in commemoration over Tibetan invasion in 17thcentury).after that by cycling back to town and visit  Dumtse lhakhang (The unusual and circular lhakhang, reminiscent of the Shana, or the black hat worn by the Bhutanese Black Hat dancers was, built by the great Builder of iron chain bridges,Drupthob Thangtong Gyalpo) ).Towards evening stroll in and around the town for last shopping in Bhutan  (Over Night at PARO)

DAY 14: DEPARTURE

B/fast in hotel and then drive to the airport for the flight t the next destination.See off by the guide and the driver from the Bhutan Dendrobium Tour and Trek.
